Rockford Community Children’s Choir (RC3)
Formed in the fall of 2011 under the direction of Renee VandeWege, this 16–voice choir of singers from grades 2—6 has already performed at Harvest Fest and during the Holiday Open Houses in Rockford.
This choir was birthed out of a desire young local singers have to learn more about the voice and how to function as an musician within an ensemble. Children’s voices are often not ready for the rigor of private instruction, but few opportunities are provided locally for students who are passionate about singing at a young age. It is the aim of this ensemble to provide an enjoyable and educational outlet for young, local singers!
