Rockford Area Arts Commission To Host Inaugural Ball To Kick Off 3rd Annual Ice Festival
The Rockford Area Arts Commission is pleased to host the first Ice Festival Ball, a fundraising event that will serve as the kickoff to the third annual Rockford Ice Festival.
The Ice Festival Ball will be held Friday January 13, 2012 at Blythefield Country Club.
Cost of the event is $100 per couple and limited to just 100 couples.
Dinner starts at 6:30PM with the dance beginning at 7:30PM.
The event includes delicious a plated dinner at the club, followed by a dance featuring a live band (70’s to today’s music) a “Dancing with the Stars” floor show and other magical surprises. Randy Finch, Ice Guru and star of The Food Network’s Ice Brigade series will be on hand. There will be an open bar, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction during the evening as well.
Babysitting will be provided by the WWW Family YMCA at their facility, with a full evening of supervised activity including games, swimming, rock wall climbing and more.
The RAAC supports visual, musical and performing arts and education throughout the greater Rockford area. Your contribution to his event will support local arts programs including the community band, orchestra, choir, theatre, children’s summer camp and artist association as well as community events like Art in the Park, ArtCapsule and Taste of Rockford.
